Which of these three wireless routers to get?

I didn't want to confuse with my other thread, so this is a new one! Text Bestbuy, where i need to get this from, has a linksys, netgear, d-link all for $66, though it looks like the LS one has some extra rebates. All are 802g.

I need at least one port on the router to allow hookup to my desktop with a network cable, then have my craptop's wireless card get going on the router as well.

I know nothing about this stuff, but suffice to say I don't want anybody else on my network seeing what I'm doing or stealing my hentai or anything like that.

I'd personally buy the linksys as there are all kinds of cool firmware upgrades you can play with but even without those it works great.
 
If they were all the same price I'd go LinkSys, then NetGear, then I'd pay more for some other LinkSys or NetGear. DLink gives me nightmares.
 
Hey how is this speedbooster router for $80? It claims 35% faster in the store. Surely that's a gimmick, but is it otherwise worth buying? Bestbuy at least had it available, whereas locally they'd sold out of the cheaper router!
 
It's ok for faster network transfer speeds but will do nothing for your internet, etc. and you must use the speed booster card with the laptop to get the benefits obviously.
