I'm finally looking to get 802.11n into my network, along with gigabit ethernet for the wired side of things.
Things I want:
802.11n with 5ghz band ability (doesn't necessarily need to be simultaneous dual-band)
gigabit ethernet ports
DD-WRT and/or Tomato support
The main thing I'm looking to do is boost my throughput over wifi. Range isn't a huge issue. I'll be keeping my current .11g router as well.
I'm looking at these routers:
D-Link DIR-825 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16833127258
Netgear WNDR3700 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16833122326
Linksys E3000 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16833124388
I'd also consider buying something with the intent of just using it as a WAP with my current router:
Airport Express
Buffalo WLI-TX4-AG300N http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16833162029
Any thoughts on the above devices?
