My box i was using as a "router" with Windows ICS has just died, and therefore have decided to replace it with a hardware router. I have currently narrowed down the choices in my price range (£70 (UK) including delivery) to the following three:
Axelen HIP-400E 4 port switch broadband router
or
Linksys router or 4 port switch version (little over budget)
I mainly do HTTP browsing and some FTP transfers, as well as occasionally playing games. I also occasionally run an FTP/HTTP server on my machine, so one that does port forwarding would be nice, but not overly essential.
I would appreciate any suggestions, comments and experience with these routers. Or, if anyone knows of a better router in my price range in the UK, then that will be appreciated
Confused
