the EB stuff is suppose to perform AMAZINGLY. Either way though with A64's there is no need to run in sync so you can just use a divider are run the CPU fast and OC the memory just a bit. I would probably go for the EB if I were you. Either way you should be able to get to 2.5 or very close with stock cooling.

i would go with the pc3500 out of those two choices
geil for low price overclocking, mushkin with winbond bh-x/ch-x for low latencies, stuff with hynix chips for extreme mhz, etc. are also good options

you can oc your cpu to any speed with nearly any memory
the question comes down to if you want to run 1:1 over 200, 230, 250, etc. or are alright with 5:4 and faster timings and/or saving a few bucks
i never liked ocz too much and pc3700 seems like a waste when compared to pc3200, pc3500, and even pc4000/pc4200 for price/performance

good luck

The OCZ PC3500 EB is a awesome choice. Mine is able to hit 270 with 3.1v (although not totally memtest error free). I currently run it at 250 with 3-2-2 timings at 2.95v error free. But truthfully, you do not need the ram to run 1:1 on A64's. The performance hit running the HTT and ram async is very small (2% or less) and if you want to save some money, some OCZ PC3200 El would work just fine. The stuff I had overclocked to 225 with 2-3-3 timings at 2.9v.

My old CO core A64 3000+ runs 2.5ghz stable, but not all do. Lots of the most recent CG cores seem to hit 2.4-2.5 pretty constantly though so you have a fair chance. So if you have the 3200 EL and a willing cpu and motherboard you could run 250x10 for 2500mhz andwith the 5:6 memory divider your ram would run about 208mhz.
