So I'm planning to buy a new CPU AMD Athlon 64 3200+ s939 but I'm not too sure which motherboard is good for this cpu...

i have these in mind

MSI K8N NEO2 PLATINUM NFORCE3 ULTRA S939 AGP 5PCI SATA 1394 SOUND 1000LAN MOTHERBOARD

ABIT AV8 3RD EYE MOTHERBOARD K8T800PRO ATHLON64 S939 DUAL DDR AGP 5PCI SATA RAID 1394 SOUND 1000LAN

ASUS A8V DELUXE MOTHERBOARD ATHLON64 S939 K8T800PRO DUAL DDR AGP 5PCI SATA 1394 SOUND 1000LAN

which of these would u guys pick???

should i spend $100 more for 3500+???
is the 3200+ s939 unlocked???
which OCZ ram should i get if i want a 1gb???
what kind of fan should i get???
how fast could i o/c it till with air cooling?

MSI K8N NEO2 PLATINUM

also, the only unlocked athlon 64 is the fx series. get ocz el platinum rev 2 memory, get the 3200+ and oc it, get the xp-90 along with a panaflo fan, and you can get to about 2.5-2.7ghz on air with that. dont bother getting the 3500+ over the 3200+ for overclocking, since getting the 3500+ will not get you a better overclock.

sorry i've never ever build a computer before the last computer i bought was 3 years ago and my friend built it for me
i've heard the MSI K8N NEO2 PLAY would be the best mobo for that cpu... bu i've also heard many ppl say MSI is not reliable

does anybody else think i should get the ABIT AV8 3rd EYE over the MSI K8N NEO 2 PLAT????

xp90 is made by ThermalTake??? what's a panaflo fan

xp-90 is made by thermalright, not thermaltake. also, a panaflo fan is a fan made by panasonic that gives a lot of air flow for little noise and is better then most case fans. as for the mobo, i say get the msi board for its features and chipset. though abit and asus are among my 3 favorite board makers, i'd have to pick the msi for best ocing.

The Epox above should do well. It's an NF3 board without MSI problems, and since it's reached 295, I wouldn't hesitate to go for it.
