I'm looking at something for my wife. She will use it everyday, a lot, for simple work tasks (excel, word, etc), and watching DVDs, downloading, etc. It would be nice if it has wire and wireless internet (she'll be using wire type daily). Burning DVDs would be good too.
Never had a laptop, so not too sure what to look for. This will be her main PC, and i thought at least a 15" screen would be good. Anyway, here's the link of what's available. Anything on this page under 50,000 yen would be about right. All the specs are listed if you scroll to the right. I know its in Japanese, but the specs themselves should be in English.
As a side, I would like the ability to switch to English if possible, but IIUC that would need windows 7 ultimate, as well as a 2nd USB keyboard. Not necessary, but it would be great for me.
