I'm kind of partial to Pioneer car stereos myself.

I have one of their Bluetooth decks with iPod control and Sirius Satellite radio in my Maxima, I love it.

Ditto on Pioneer, I put one on my GFs accord. It was like 100 and came with an ipod cable and remote. Works perfectly fine and doesn't look like some ADD seizure inducing mess
 
eclipse is junk compared to anything other than boss or pyle or some crap. hell, i've seen jensen HU's more reliable than the last eclipse turd i had.

of the other three, i would simply pick the one with the best options for EQ, crossover, et al.
 
I'm partial towards the Kenwood just because Pioneer can be bass ackwards as far as media playback from USB/SD. I should know, seeing as to how I've tried both a Kenwood DNX9140 and a Pioneer Z110BT (top-end nav HUs). Still ended up going with the Z110BT, but it was definitely a compromise.

Fuck Eclipse. I have an Eclipse deck and 4ch amp - the deck was replaced 3 times under warranty and is now having problems again, and both of the front channels on the amp cut out constantly. Never again will I buy an Eclipse product. Reliable? What a fucking joke.

And I have had an Eclipse amp and have had eclipse speakers and have had NO problems and am very pleased with all my eclipse products.



Moral of the story: Every brand has someone irrationally yelling about how shitty they are
 
Here's a vote for Pioneer.

I'm pretty excited about the p7200hd since it has HD radio built in. Never really got into the iPod native head units because their interfaces seemed very kludgy, incredibly slow, or both.

I'm more than happy to use the aux-in on my 5800mp and the iPhone interface for selecting music.

I had an Eclipse HU 2nd from top of the line and that thing was replaced 3 times under warranty as well. The HU software was buggy as hell and it would constantly lockup requiring a reset. This wiped all of the programmed settings and it's more than just radio presets. I'm talking time delays, parametric eq settings, crossover points, etc. Finally gave up and sold the thing and bought a Premier (Pioneer) and been happy since.

The only good thing about the HU were the six softkeys around the display always indicated their function such as the radio freq preset on that button or CD player function. My Premier unit lacks such features...
