eh, I'm not as excited about Lateralus as dm and some of the other hard-core Tool fans here. There's no doubt that all of the discs you listed are good ones. I've heard them all actually. Here's my rank:
1. Radiohead - Amnesiac : I really really like this disc. I'd consider myself a fan of all of Radiohead's work, but I'm one of the few who likes their new sound (OK Computer and newer) more than their older stuff. Kid A was just to bizarre for most people but I loved it. Amnesiac (AKA Kid B) adds a little more normalcy but was recorded at the same time as Kid A and thus has the same 'feel'. It's gotten some not so great reviews, but who really cares what critics think?
2. Weezer - TGA : I'm also a Weezer fan. If you like Weezer's other stuff, you'll really like this disc. It's evoilved ever-so-slightly but it's undeniably Weezer. Kind of short but still packs a good punch.
3. Tool - Lateralus : I like Tool, but I don't LOVE Tool. I think that Lateralus is a good CD, and is a nice change-of-pace from their earlier stuff because it's a little more mellow and experimental. Lyrically Tool is one of the best.
4. Staind - Break The Cycle : It's a good disc, but it's kind of fluffy. I don't mean any offense to big Staind fans, but I just don't take them as seriously as other bands... maybe it's because of their association with Limp Bizkit they just seem more like they're pandering to what's popular. But the songs are catchy and if you like their sound (and their two most recent singles) you definitely won't be disappointed.
They're all good discs with a lot of repeat-listening value, but that's the order I would put them in. You'll have to rank for yourself which artists you like best out of the four.
