Ive been exercising like crazy for like a year and a half but really don't know whats the difference between these 2 bikes besides cost?

What is the point of the angle at which eat sits? The upright one is $100 cheaper but I want the best one. All the other features seem the same to me. I need a new indoor bike cause of the cold coming up.

I think it's mainly personal preference. I have both at the gym and I generally prefer the recliner. For some reason on the upright after 30 min of biking I get reduced bloody flow to my groin and it feels very weird and numb because of the seat - it's probably just that seat. Normal biking doesn't do it. I like the reclined one because I can just sit there and read a book and chill. Just finished a ride about 10 min ago :)

Seat adjustment is the main reason for your discomfort I would bet. (probably too low)

I broke my knee several years ago (Playing Hacky Sack of ALL things)

And now if my seat is even 1/8 inch too low, I feel it.

Also I use a bike seat attatched to a mod.ed frame at work when I'm on the computer, and it's too low.
After about 15 min. my ball's and my whole groin fall asleep. (it's a REAL weird feeling!!!)
