I would have DirecTV IF I had clearance for the HD dish. I had the SD dish for 4 months for the NFL package, then tried to upgrade to HD and they said they didn't have the necessary open space from my apartment. So now I have Cox.

That's OK, I also switched to Cox cable internet. Soon I'll set up my fiance with a secondary email entitled Kellygrabs@cox.net or something sophomoric like that.

Went there 6 times last week to finally get a working cable box.
1. Box broke
2. Box only had one tuner
3. Box wouldn't activate premium channels
4. DVR would record, but nothing showed up on recorded list.
5. They were out of boxes
6. Sixth time was a charm.

I'm with Charter myself in Mid TN. I'm tempted to switch to Dish but I like the "no box" situation w/ cable card.

Whatever total package I need that gets HD....... That's what I pay for. About $70.00/mth
