Cpu: Intel Core2 Duo 8400 (3.0ghz)
MB: Intel P45 (intel brand) when it's released.
Mem: 2048 Mushkin ddr2800/pc6400 4-4-4-12 (996603)
Video: Evga 9800gtx (might go 9800gtx+ if I wait a mth or so)
HD: WD Raptor 150gb
Sound: SB X-fi
Dvd burner
(No OC, all stock)

Just wanted to make sure. Never bought a Corsair psu, only Antec and Enermax.

The Corsair I've heard has a 5year warranty. That's great, but I've never held onto a psu for more than 3, before either selling it or donating it

Most likely some of your Antec units might have been made by Seasonic which also makes the Corsair HX520. So essentially, you're buying ...a Seasonic.

The Thermaltake Purepower RX is an excellent PSU. Built on the same platform as the Corsair VX550.

Tomoyo I would say this is more like asking for someone to choose between a Dodge Charger and a Pontiac G8. Or choosing between a Mustang and a Camaro

The Purepower RX is built on the same CWT PSH platform as the Toughpower series..So I am not exactly sure why it wasn't branded a toughpower
