Which of these 2 sets of speakers should I buy?

My trusty Altec Lansing 4100 speakers became not so trusty last week. No sound out of them, except for static. I hooked up a set of Creative 2.1 speakers, and they work fine. Anyway, I would like to get a really nice set of speakers for my computer, since it's really the only place in the house that music gets played from, and I like to have movies playing there while I'm working.

I've been considering the Logitech Z-5500 and the Klipsch Promedia Ultra 5.1 speakers. Does anyone know if Klipsch is worth the extra money? I've listened to both sets, but not side-by-side. Circuit City had the Logitechs, but not the Klipsh, and Best Buy was the other way around.

Here's a comparison of the 2 sets, although I won't buy them from Dell, unless they throw out some good E&A codes.

from what I've heard, Promedia's have far better sound than the Logitech.
(different roommmates have had each).

Well one, Klipsch will have 1) more full-range sound (a tweeter for highs, I think a 3" driver will roll off at 5k, so anything higher is being boosted by a built-in equalizer. That's gonna hurt clarity) but 2) a different sound. They are considered "bright", which is just a euphemism for a spiky FR chart.
