I was getting some new stuff and would get a barton processor with good memory that supports it. I play games and have a ti4200. I don't need anything super great and would like the best value for the money. Onbard LAN and audio don't matter to me. I would like SATA though.
I was thinking on one of these 2:

1. Asus A7V8X (VIA KT400)
2. Asus A7V600 (VIA KT600)
