will buy 2 sets

2)OCZ 2GB (2 x 1GB) 184-Pin DDR SDRAM Unbuffered DDR 400 (PC 3200) Dual Channel Platinum System Memory

Both end up being around the same price.
One has higher frequency, other has tighter timings and is only 2 sticks.
Id like to buy either of these but am open to a better suggestion at same price.

THanks

1. Both links are broken.
2. One has 2GB, the other has 1GB.
3. I assume both are 184-pin ram, and thus compatible with your motherboard. But I can't tell b/c the links don't work.
4. Get the cheapest 2x1GB OCZ ram, called "Value," and you're set.

🙂

good christ, links fixed.

yes one is 2x1gb, the other is 2x512mb which will mean i'll get 4x512mb.
Is it better to have higher frequency or less sticks with tighter timings?

Get the 2x1GB Platinum.

For A64, unless youre overclocking to the speed the faster RAM is running at, it would be pointless to get the faster RAM. Go with the lowest latencies unless that is your situation.
