Which Notebook for Video Editing?

I'm looking for notebook for Sports Video Analysis (comparing tennis strokes for my clients). It'll also be used for some Photoshop work. My main requirements are.

Bluetooth
Wireless N
Widescreen (12"-14" preferred if even possible, I'll be traveling with it)
Long Battery Life (at least 4 hours)
HDMI Output (so I can show the videos on HDTV's)
DVD Burner
Firewire port (mini or full)

My problem is I don't have a big budget ~ $1000

Any recommendations? Thanks in advance.

You may want to consider the white plastic macbook.

13" widescreen, good battery life, wireless n, bluetooth, full 6 pin firewire port, MiniDVI (which can be converted to HDMI) port, DVD burner, 2.1GHz Core 2 Duo, and 2GB RAM by default.

$999 as configured

Given that I've never owned a Mac before, how long do you think it would take for me to get used to one? I rather have a normal PC but if Mac does a much better job then PC given the same price I might consider it for sure. Any other options?

If you make sure to only use the Mac and allow for there to be differences... give it 2 weeks, 1 month tops to really be comfortable with all the ins and outs (and very probably start despising certain windows-isms)

However, the hardware supports Windows, so you can always just dump OS X (not my advice) and put Vista or 7 on there.
