Which notebook carrying case do you use?

I haven't recieved my Dell 9100 yet, but I've been looking for carrying cases for it and it seems to be quite a challenge. First off it's hard to find a model I like and judge if it's going to be comfortable and useful. Secondly, I need one for a 15.4" monitor which seems to narrow it down quite a bit, but some case specs don't state what screen size they accomodate.

So, which carrying case do you use? I'd like a top loading case, leather or nylon doesn't matter to me. Some of those backpacks look nice but I'd like a carrying case more.

I have a Gateway M675 w/ 17.1 inch screen and you're right the field narrows considerably for widescreen notebooks. I ended up getting this one for it.

For a laptop that size a backpack will save you. I have the targus sportpack deluxe, and it fits my 15 latitude c840 fine. I bought mine so I could carry books as well as ride my motorcycle with my laptop, but have found it saves my shoulder from being sore when I have to carry it places.

Sportpack Deluxe

It fits laptops up to 16" which will be good for the widescreen. The others say laptop up to 15.4", but i don't think that includes widescreens. It doesn't look professional when I have to wear a suit, but I still have my Dell case I can pull out if it really matters. I'd rather have convenience than worry about how my laptop case looks.

I'm about to buy a backpack from Spire .

Thay come very highly recommended and include both a sleeve and a rigid protection system to keep your machine safe.

I have an X31 and that looks a bit more tempting than the Targus stuff.
