Wife wants a case/protector for her Note II. She carries it in a purse. She wants protection from when she drops it.

My wife got a note 2 about 2 weekends ago, last weekend she decide to stress test the commuter case by dropping it in the toilet. The camera lense did fog up, but dried up the following day. functionality wise, it survived.

I use this case, offers some protection rubberized bumpers and i use the kick stand a lot.
It does add a little bulk but i can still slide it into my non skinny jeans. Due to the rubber bumbers it does not slide as easily. It helps with th grip as without the case i always felt it was going to slide off my hands.

Still debating on a screen protector.

Check out jellybeans ROM its a nice lean touch wiz based ROM so all functions are retained.

Tried several aosp (paranoid/carbon) Roms but I happen to be one of those who get GPS not locking issues so back to touch wiz rom for now.

I was using the Protective Cover + on my Note 2. It doesn't cover the bezel completely. I dropped my Note last week & it hit exactly where the bezel is exposed & shattered(you can see the impact mark on the silver bezel.
I recommend the Diztronic TPU.
