Which newer 6800 has a working PVP?

I will soon need an AGP card to update my video. AGP is my first requirement. The 6600 is a little too light for the load (to justify the upgrade). I also need 256MB.

It is either that or a 850XT.

I am wondering about the ASUS V9999GT. It appears to be updated as it is listed to support OGL 2.0. Looking for more detail.

Does the R480 have mpeg2 and WMV-HD acceleration though? I don't remember ATI having their own decoder even. Most of Purevideo works with the NV40. It's mainly the accelerated WMV-HD that's broken.

It's also worthy of note that while the 6800 series cards may have a broken PVP (I'm not even sure what that means anymore), the Microsoft DxVA patch for Windows Media Player helped a lot...I used to drop frames like crazy on 1080p WMV-HD, but now it plays fine...just FYI

Thanks all. Another frequent poster (will not mention his name without permission, but you can trust the info) in a PM mentioned that SOL on AGP, but working on PCI-e NU version. Oh well. nVidia and ATI pretty much suck for not offering one last AGP card with the newer cores.
