Which of these is more appealing ? Having a hard time deciding.
But personally, I like the Sierra.

Are we just talking aesthetics? If so, probably the Chevy for being somewhat modern but very 'truck' without overdoing it (or...'Fording it,' so to speak).

The Titan looks dated but I appreciate it's managable size...it might not actually be any smaller, but the lines make it not feel like a total battlecruiser when you're driving it. The Tundra, OTOH, is much the opposite. I think it's the high belt-line and really high hood that make me feel less comfortable driving it.

The GM's are big, but it's a square, predictable kinda 'big' that I'm used to.

...but the Ram may be the overall just 'best looking.' Oh noes, surely I didn't just say that. :(

i like the new gmc the best out of them. the new tundras are fugly. titian is very old and not effecient. you can get the gmc and have nearly as good fuel economy as the 6 in the ford, better towing, quiter, and better looking truck. also, the reach over height is lower on the gm trucks, makes the bed easier to access.

It doesn't matter which one looks better because the Tundra is the best truck there.

Or the worst, depending on your point of view.

Nope, the Tundra is the best overall truck in this line up.

For the first time since the awards began in 2009, Toyota swept the truck categories of the Best Cars for the Money awards given out each year by U.S. News & World Report magazine. In fact, this is the first time the Tundra has won the full-size category, but it’s the fourth time in five years that the Tacoma took the top honor.

1. Silverado.
2. Ram
3. Nissan

Everything else is too blocky. The GMC might look better with a different grill.

The Ford followed closely by the Toyota. My next truck will be a gently used Tundra, doubt the 2015 Fords will have dropped into my price range by then.

That Ford is actually kinda cool... very futuristic looking. The Titan and Ram are hilariously ugly. Other 3 are even to me.

I wonder if Nissan has plans for the Titan, or they plan to just let it wither on the vine.

I was just in your shoes when looking to get into a truck.
Went with a gently used Tundra..
Best way to pick your next rig? Go drive some used ones that have 40K on them and report back, my sample size was much larger than 1 for each model, and there was no doubt in my mind which one had held up the best.
Waiting for "non box framed, blah blah blah" comments to start about my choice.

They plan to bring it out with a 5L Cummins turbo diesel V8.

Yep, overhaul coming out next year. Wouldn't buy a current titan. The F150 with the 3.5 liter ecoboost would be first pick, followed by tundra, then chevy/gmc, and then dodge.

A lot also depends on the powertrain you want too.

Depends on what you're using it for. As a work truck? Towing? Or just want to be one of those tools who drives a truck because it's more macho than an SUV?

Work trucks, the Silverado/Sierra and Toyota Tundra are your best bets. I spent a lot of time in Silverados and Savanas. They can take a lot of abuse that job sites serve up. Handling is middling and comfort is decent, but they don't have a lot of frills.

The F-150 is probably the most comfortable and best handling truck I've driven. It's the quintessential "boss's truck". High on frills, can be used for work, but isn't built to be abused. Driven the V8 and it's nice, but I'd probably go with the Ecoboost these days.

The RAM 1500 IMO is a poor man's copy of the F-150. They've built them to be a boss's truck but the Ford edged it out in pretty much every category I can think of. Though the EPA says the 6cyl gets slightly better fuel economy than its counterpart with the same size engine. Though, all the problems generally associated with Chrysler products come into play here as well. I'd consider the RAM 2500 with the Cummins diesel, if you're towing heavy things a lot.

Can't speak for the Nissan because it's been 10 years since I've driven one. Honestly don't remember what they were like.

Wish I had 51k to drop on the Dodge Laramie Ecodiesel. Base price is 29k and change, so the jump to 51k is just enormous.

I'd actually skip all of the trucks listed and wait for the Chevy Colorado with the Duramax diesel being introduced in 2016.

I would skip the tundra. They have more issues than the 2 big US makers.

Ford and GM (Chevy and GMC) are the 2 I would lean toward and I say that as someone who just bought a dodge truck.

Nissan is nice if you can get it cheap. I use to own a titan. Loved the power and ride but it is dated.

I'd look for a nice used one imo. Unless you're using one to support yourself then spending 40k on one is ridiculously stupid.

Colorado isn't a full size truck. The trucks listed in the OP are all full sized 1/2 ton trucks.
