Heyo, i need some good mens New Balance shoes. $80 or under. Was checking out the 886s, wondering if anyone had them, and if they're comfortable and all that. Kind of looking for court shoes, that i can also use for everyday use. I'm guessing since you entered this thread you know a little something about New Balance :p

You really expect to get a recommendation for shoes over the internet?

You need to go try them on. What is comfortable on my feet might make your feet hurt.

Wait for one of the Foot Locker 30% off coupons and get the NB 991. I think they're the best for both comfort and style. The 2001 is also great for running and I have seen them on clearance for cheap.

Hey, you can find anything on the internet :p, but expect probably isn't the right word, just thought i'd give it a shot.

There's probably someone here with the 886s, if someone says they're really uncomfortable or something i'd be less likely to buy them, and if someone were to say they really loved them, then i'd be a little more likely to buy them, even though all feet are different. Any feedback's better than none.

I'd go a little further with that and say that any feedback is pretty much useless. If 50 people say they are the most comfortable shoes in the world and you buy them based on that but they end up hurting your feet then what's the point?

He's looking for suggestions to see what are some good models out there. He's not saying "whatever you guys recommend I'm going to buy." What you're saying about shoes holds true for any product. TVs, blenders, speakers, whatever. If a bunch of people say that the shoes are comfortable, then there's probably a higher likelihood that the shoes are going to be comfortable then not. He will eventually find out when he goes and tries them on. It's better then trying on 100 different models of New Balance shoes.

So I'd have to disagree with you saying that any feedback is useless.

I got the N.B. 574's in a little darker grey for $30 plus tax at a local store. They were %50 off. I would have bought multiple pairs if they had more in my size.

I love these things with a passion. My back feels so much better already. Plus they have that retro 70's look. Now all I need is an Izod shirt, knee socks with the three horizontal rings, and the short shorts with the white trim (you know what I'm talkin' bout, old school)
