Whi architecture is better for gaming?

LGA2011-i7-3820(Sandy Bridge-E) or 4770ka(Haswell) for Gaming

In terms of bang for your buck, probably neither in a strictly gaming machine. Hyperthreading isn't much of an asset in current games, and probably won't be in the near future.

Are you planning out an upgrade? If so, your best bet is to answer these questions.

Gaming is GPU-bound, so you should be asking this in the GPU forum. Which GPU architecture is the best for gaming?

4770K is a bit faster than i7-3820, consumes much less power esp. when overclocked, and the platform is better with more modern features. Purely in terms of gaming, either CPU will avoid bottle necking about the same, but that isn't directly due to their architecture

Really, the question you should be asking is, "which architecture costs less so that I can dump more money into GPUs?" The answer to that question is Socket 1150, specifically the i5 4670K or a Xeon E3-12xx V3.
