Hi
I have decided on the MSI Ti4200 with 128 megs of ram. Newegg has two MSI Ti4200 with 128 megs of ram and I am not sure which one is best for me.

1. The MSI G4Ti4200-VTP has Video-in TV-out Dual VGA CARD

2. The MSI G4Ti4200-TD has TV-OUT DVI VGA

My current setup is a Iiyama 19 inch monitor (not an LCD). I have no intentions of doing editing video editing or using my TV.

Which one of the above would be best for me since I dont undestand the above technology

Thanks

Not positive, but I think one of em is OEM and the other is a full retail. The full retail comes with NOLF, aquanox and something else.

If you're not doing video in or out, then number 2 will be good :)

Edit: to clarify on why ;) The first one has video in and video out, so you can record stuff from a camcorder or something. You can also display it on the TV if you so wish.
It has dual VGA, which means u can hook up two seperate monitors.
The second one, is basically the same, just it doesn't have video in, but still has dual VGA (it will come with a DVI->CRT adapter so u can use a second, non-DVI display :))

That's the one i have, it is a VERY nice card :D

I've just received my MSI G4TI4200-TD (128MB version) from Googlegear and set it up a short while ago with latest nVidia driver (40.72).

Just finished running the Benchmark test in 3DMark2001, results can be checked here :

If these are good figures, then I would suggest this model, it does come with a DVI connector and a couple of games and a few other things that I'm not too worried about, as long as the card is good !
