The Intellimouse Optical, it's white and grey, it's symmetric.
The Intellimouse Explorer is the big right hand only black and grey.
There is also Intellimouse with IntelliEye, it's just basic white 2 buttons + wheel no side buttons...I don't think it's symmetric though...

If you just want basic 2 buttons + wheel there is logitech's WheelMouse Optical to, and it is symmetric. It's a bit cheaper than the Optical, but lacks the side button.

I'm gonna get the Optical. I have a Staples coupon, and I found a price cheaper than theirs online. Can I pricematch?

Just to confirm, it is the Intellimouse Optical. Best mouse I've ever had. The side buttons are a little awkward, though. Porbably just not used to it yet.

I used to have the optical but got sick of clicking the side buttons when i picked up the mouse to reposition it (FPS gameing) :(

In the end went for the bottom of the range Intellimouse with intellieye (just 2 buttons and wheel) This IS the best mouse ive had to date :)
Wish MS would make their mouses feel as well built as their old Intellimouse tho' :(

the MS optical mouse is fine for lefties, and it's not as big as the other 2 MS mise with intellieye.

I dont' have ANY problem with the button placement (I'm a righty) on it either. it took a little getting used to, but now I'm fine!

The right side thumb button is kinda troublesome to get use to. Heh... that puts all my fingers to work. I rather like the thumb button placement on the Explorer though.

Well I went to Office Depot. They told me they don't do 155% price match anymore? Oh well. I got it for like $48.00 w/ tax :( Could have gotten it online from staples but w/ the holiday i wouldn't get it for a few days.

Anyway it feels good but I'll have to get use to the symmetrical, i've been using a right-handed mouse for 2 years and I'm left handed.

The right thumb button is cool but i think it should be lower so I don't have to move my thumb to hit it.

Also, the LED heats up and makes my palm hot.
