I cann't decide between nano and SanDisk Sansa? e200 Series MP3 Players. These are the only flash based mp3 players I found I like. Does anyone has the 4gb nano ??

I have the 4GB Nomad and I think I will pick up the Nano Plus so I can listen to Radio and record. I have had my nomad for awhile few years and still working like a charm. Go for the Nano.

I have a 4GB nano. Love it! Even with a hard plastic case it's still smaller than pretty much anything else out there. Plus you can get a lot more accessories for the ipod than you can other MP3 players.

Does anyone has the 30gb video ipod and want to post their review. What works what doesn't , I really dont have that much video just songs.

I got the 4GB nano. It replaces a 1GB flash mp3 player I still have. Why? Cuz I ran out of space. I actually have a 5GB HDD based one, but I no longer use it.

Yeah, I have a lot of crap...

I have a 30 GB Video.

Videos arent really that hard to convert with the right software, even ripping from DVD's. Batterly life sucks, but its thin and small.

Pretty great. You can also mod your Nano to play videos(I believe).

If your interested in video player, also check out the Creative Zen Vision M.

What works:
Easy setup - install iTunes (i already had it installed) and go!
Lots of accessories - iSkin - iTrip - Universal Dock
Even tho it's a 2.5" screen videos look amazing (read: Family Guy episodes in my Psych class look amazing)
Large Capacity vs. nano or zen micro
Easy controls - easily the most user friendly player out there (along with every apple mp3 player)
Audiobook speed setting in case you hate how slow audiobook readers read (like me)
Long battery life when playing music

What Doesn't
Crappy customer service from apple
Expensive (vs. nano or micro)
Aggravating to convert video to watch
Short batterly life when watching videos
Scratches on Black face are annoying as frick

All in all I'm glad i got a video, I just convinced my roomie this summer to buy a nano for her trip to Germany, and she loves it.

I say go for the nano.

i didnt know you can mod your nano to play videos....cool. i will look into that!

I didn't know that nano can be moded to play video but the screen is so small on the nano. does anyone has the iriver H10.

Nano will cost me $250 for $50 more I can get 30gb so I have room to expand, I really dont care that much about watching video(in my itunes I have 4381 items).

For me the 60GB iPod video is really the only practical option. With >50GB of MP3s it is the only thing small enough, at least apple was there for me once.

not everyone needs to listen to all 30,000 songs at a time. I have a 1 GB iAudio 5 and I rarely fill it. Because I listen to only about 10 different songs at a time.

50GB of MP3s is no where near 30,000 songs. Most of my MP3s are 320 bit rate and I have 8,000 songs. About 10,000 songs is 60GB.

okkkkk....doesn't change the point...had to make some assumption of bitrate...

Most people still don't listen to 8000 songs at one time. Out of that collection, you might listen to a couple albums.

Large players are nice for backup purposes but I don't see any many other points to having 8000 songs to listen to at a time.

Won't matter that you have 320bit rate MP3s because the ipod SQ is garbage, and is even worse with their buds...
