Which MP3 player has the best audio quality?

I was thinking of getting the Nano 5g, but I hear the audio quality isn't great. Then I thought about getting the Zune HD, but it has no WAV support which I need.

Has anyone tried a few of the portable MP3 players under $200? All I care about is audio quality with a really good pair of headphones.

Sound quality can be pretty subjective but pretty much any Cowon audio player are said to have good SQ.

Cowon sound quality is great. Sansa is said to have pretty good SQ too if you have to buy it at a B&M store

Sansa Clip is known for great sound quality. Zunes do pretty well here too.
