Going to the movies later and don't know what to watch:

Here are a few choices:

Elizabethtown
2 for the money
A history of violence
In her shoes
Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit

How do I enable a poll?

To be honest, I'd rather watch a chick flick than an action movie where Tom Cruise someone dies more than once and still comes back in the end to win the fight!

Serenity :)

A History of Violence was ok, but not enough character depth/development for me

"Save your money, don't go to the show." Frank Zappa

I built a home theater room with a 129" diagonal screen. I have a DVD player and HDTV cable hooked up to my projector (Panasonic AE700) and I will probably never pay another dime to go to a movie theater. I have better picture quality, better sound and way more comfort, including the absense of kids, babies, and talkers.

ANTI SOCIAL? Just because I have a home theater and refuse to pay ridiculous prices to see movies when they're just released. Nothing like having the gang or family over for a movie or a sporting event in HDTV.

TBH I think having family/friends over in a nice home environment with the option to go out after is better than going to a theater where people might expect you to be quiet, the seats usually have armrests seperating them, and it can be less sociable.
In a HT setup if it's got good seating you can be more social, there aren't loads of freaks about etc, and you can go out after/before.

You people are nuts with this anti social crap. Who the heck said I didn't care about going out and having a good time. After completing my home theater I discovered that the movie viewing experience was far better at home than at the theater. Enough said.
