Blazing Saddles ending is classic - it's basically mocking itself.

One of the strangest endings I've seen recently was in No Country For Old Men. I was like "WTF", what just happened?

i loved how monty python's beginning went with an ending.

The first time I saw Holy Grail I was all WTF? over the ending. Took me a few moments to actually accept it and see the humour in it. Blazing Saddles was a somewhat similar experience, but not quite as much as the main plot was more completed. Which brings me back to Holy Grail, I so wanted to see them find it or at least discover something in that Castle of Frenchmen.
