I'm currently using the IntelliMouse Explorer 3.0, but my bro just offered me his MX510 for free. I'm in an indecisive mood...

MS only b/c logitech "support" can go to hell... "Roger" from India sent me the cheapest, I mean the cheapest optical mouse Logitch has to offer when my mx510 inexplicably broke down after a months use.

Still got the mx1000 though :/

My experience with Logitech's support has been the opposite, at least regarding speakers.

I'd go with the Logitech. I love mine, and I haven't liked an MS mouse since the original Intellimouse with a ball.

I really, really like MS's hardware support, but my mx700 rocks, so I voted logitech.

Don`t all their mice have 5 year warranty?

I would take the MX510 mouse over the Microsoft Explorer ,it`s one of the best gaming models available.

Logitech Gaming mice have a 3 year warranty.

Standard Logitech mice have a 5 year warranty.

Still, if you're a gamer, you are upgrading to the next better thing anyway. Video card, processor, so on.

Logitech for keyboards and mice... I MIGHT consider a m$ mouse the day after the world comes to an end...
