I have my eye on the Penryn Xeon E5405 processor (Quad Core 2GHz) but am confused as to what motherboard attributes or chipsets support this CPU. I had my eye on the Gigabyte GA-73UM-S2H NVIDIA GeForce 7150 HDMI mATX as I'm not a gamer and it seems to have excellent on-board graphics but I'm not sure if the 1333MHz is enough. I've seen other boards mention support for "Extreme" which I think is the 1000$ pentium offering.

If this one won't, what do I have to look for in a new motherboard so that it will work with this processor, or is the Xenon cpu only meant and will only work with a server specific mb.

Yes, you're correct. Thanks. I guess that answers all my questions. Seems like I'll have some waiting to do before I can get a ~$200 pentium penryn.
