which motherboard?

i haven't kept up with hardware since i built my pc about 6 months ago. a buddy of mine wants a rig...just wondering which motherboards you guys think are best at the moment. should i get a ddr board or what?

i assume you want to run an athlon cpu?

if so, ddr makes sense, especially if you're building a computer from scratch.

epox is good, so's the asus one, av7m or something like that? abit's coming out with one, dunno if that's gonna be any good.

MSI K7 Master amd 761, i always go for msi even though their tech support arent that good, they are the best stability out of all the boards
