Ok, Im ordering a board tonite, and have finalized to these two boards. You all here know what is good and bad, or the best of the best, heck...your all pros. So please vote and let me know. At 8pm eastern time, I will look at the votes, and based on the poll, that is what I will order. Please vote and don't be biased

Edit: I dont plan on overclocking much, if at all. Just not into it

Thanks

They were both highly rated in all reviews online. I think it's the kinda scenario where you really can't go wrong with either choice. If you are not overclocking, your choice became simpler: get the one that's cheaper. I see on Newegg that the ASUS is about $30 cheaper, so maybe that is the better option. I do like the feel of the "for hardcore enthusaists" tag that goes with the DFI name. Hmm...I say, get the ASUS.

Let's see if someone seconds my opinion.

If money and time are your primary conerns, go with the Asus. For max overclockability and the best the best S939 board available, unless you HAVE TO HAVE SLI, go with the DFI. The dfi has to have the proper components (good ram (ocz is very veery compaitable) and a good psu- dfi-street.com has reconmendations) and generally requires manual ram timings for stability (but they are available all over the web for your partticular ram and processor, usually they provide a very strong base). Are you planning on using your existing components? Corsair ram+DFI=generally poor combination. In which case, definatly get the Asus. Otherwise, get the DFI.

WOW...I was expecting around 40 votes total abouts. But, time is up,

DRUM ROLL....................

AND THE WINNER IS.........
