I have a decesion which to put on a computer. I really like the idea of 8 IDE channels as i will have a CDROM, DVD, HDD, and a internal Zip and may add a hard drive later. But i can just get a cheap $10 card and add it to the 6 PCI slots on the ASUS. I really don't trust VIA, but I heard they got better, and should be (hopefully) faster than the tried and true BX. Both overclock like a dream though, so thats not really and issue. Which would you choose? (BTW i have both boards and will give put the unused one in a friends comp)

P3V4X: the easiest/most stable overclocking board I ever had. Besides, it's got 133MHz fsb support so that you can go for those high-speed overclocks;).

BE6 is old. Get the P3V4X or CUSL2. I have the P3V4X, it has been a great board for me.
