I am think of defecting from my Intel P4C 3Ghz with Asus P4C800 Deluxe to an AMD Athlon 64 3000+ and the MSI K8T Neo-FIS2R. I also want to overclock but I have read that without the PCI/AGP lock, it's hard to overclock and stability from other hardware devices.
1) Has anyone successfully overclock high on these chips and boards? How?
2) Which board does have the lock for the PCI/AGP?

Thanks.

Look for boards with the nforce 250 chipset. I've got the MSI and without the agp/pci lock, I can only top out around 2200 mhz, and that's reallly limited.
