4x512MB (PC2100) - DDR266 Manufacture by Samsung...
SO, can i use Socket939 for registered ecc ram??
I have heard that registered ram is a requirement for Socket940, but it doesn't support Cool & Quiet!?
i don't know... but here's what i got from Tom's
"
Cool & Quiet requires the following:
1. BIOS support;
2. Cool & Quiet Windows driver installation, adding a tab to the power options;
3. Change of Windows power scheme in order to enable 'Minimal Power Management.'

Do you even know what it's for? It won't change your computing experience at all, it just shaves a few degrees of the CPU temperature when itss idle. That's it, no more no less. And that article is very old. AMD Opterons with E4 Stepping support Cool & Quiet.
