I used to purchase Biostar and Soyo but they were crappy. Now I'm starting to purchase either DFI or Chaintech for our systems. How's MSI and some of the other ones I've seen on newegg.

I like Asus, Gigabyte, MSI in that order I have also tried Chaintech which gave me no problems for a cheaper board :)

ASUS for reliabiltiy.
Gigabyte for beginners
MSI for overclockers, but want some features
DFI for extreme (and I mean extreme) overclockers
ABIT for stability
Soltek for a nicely priced board that runs great at stock speeds (if you don't plan on overclocking).

Biostar and Soyo sound generic . Are you looking for an nForce4 btw?

Overclocking isnt my thing since I dont want to do any damage to my system (something might go wrong). I might start looking into MSI and ASUS. I never liked gigabyte for whatever reason.

Then certainly the ASUS would be your best bet :)

Hmmmm ... I forgot about that brand. Whatever happened to ECS? I used to use them for my personal systems until I found DFI.
