I will probably be purchasing a computer from Monarch Furia line but don't know which motherboard and ram I should get. 85% of the computer will mainly be used for 2d and 3d graphic programs like Maya, Zbrush, Photoshop, and Painter. Only 15% might be used for games.
I am looking for a stable system and will NOT be overclocking.
I plan on purchasing the AMD Athlon64 3200+.
I do not need an SLI board.

Here is the link to the selections: http://www.monarchcomputer.com/Merchant...n=PROD&Store_Code=M&Product_Code=80311

Here are some selection of motherboards I was looking into:
Asus A8N-E nForce4 $125
Asus A8V-E Deluxe K8T890 $135
DFI Lan Party UT nF4-D $117
DFI Lan Party UT NForce4 Ultra-D $129
Gigabyte GA-K8NF-9 nForce4 $115
MSI K8N Neo 4 Platinum $139
There are also other brands by Abit, BFG and Winfast that they offer.

For ram, I am interested in purchasing 2 gigs. Since I plan on no overclocking can I get the cheapest ram. Here are some of their selection for 2 gigs:
Corsair (Twinx2048-3200C2PT) $265
Corsair (Twinx2048-3200PRO) $299
Corsair (TWINX2048-3200PT) $265
OCZ (OCZ4002048V3DC-K) $221
OCZ (OCZ4002048PFDC-K) $239
Patriot $242

Or should I purchase 1 gig for first memory selection and then another gig for second memory selection if those options are better.

Thanks for the help.

Thanks for the suggestion. I will have to see if they let me add this or if I am restricted to the selections they have on that page.

Any suggestions on the motherboard?

I assume they will let you add this.

Yes get some cheap value ram. The expensive stuff is only for overclocking. Since you are not overclocking, I would get the cheapest motherboard in your list. I'm partial to MSI though as I have had positive experience with them in the past. And make sure that your ram is supported by the mobo.

I suggest the Asus A8N-E or the Gigabyte GA-K8NF-9. Both are very good, stable boards.
