I have an old HP Pavilion Pentium 75 case. The case is in perfect condition and I think the powersupply is 200W.

Can this PC be upgraded with a new motherboard? The old motherboard is 2 boards with a lower mainboard that has mouse, keyboard, serial ports, parallel port and VGA connector on the lower board. Then a riser connects to the upper board where the PCI or ISA sockets are located for upgrades. The modem and sound card is plugged into an ISA port.

Any suggestions? I'd really like to recycle this case if possible.

Your help is greatly apprecaited.

Thanks,
Pigseye

I think that you would be better off to buy the mid ATX EVERCASE E4252WEFA case at www.newegg.com. for $42. Most of the motherboards inthe Pavillions are proprietary and are probably the AT form factor. A micro atx mobo might fit but all the connectors would probably be different. It might take some major mods to make todays moboards fit.

I think it might be more of a pain in the butt to recycle that case. Either try the evercase or the enlight 7237. I have never tired the evercase but I like the 7237.

I wish I had dsl or cable!!! used to have it and then moved to the country. I'm using dial up for now with dish being my only high speed option.

Also, i have several P133s that I would use for a firewall. Just trying to find a way to recycle this PC. I doubt anyone would want to buy it.

thanks,
