Which monitor?

I play a lot of games on my comuputer, i am about to buy a new LCD monitor. I"m choosing between this:

About the widescreen can my 6600GT handle 1440x900? It says it can handle up to up to and including 2048 × 1536 at 85Hz and including. That is an awkward resolution.

What do you think would be best for gaming? Thanks for your help.

P.S. $300 is the most i am going to spend!

I kno 300 is your max but that samsung is a great deal. Wait till the original price drops and it will be below 300 AR probably later this week. The benq is very nice as well.
