Which monitor would you rather use?

Being a geek pays off sometimes. For installing/setting up their DSL at my mom's work, her boss is giving me a 21" monitor that isn't used anymore. That whole difficult task of plugging cables and installing software. 😛

I'm using the Viewsonic 19" PF790 right now. Hmmm, maybe sell the 21" and get an LCD? Or maybe just put the 21" on a secondary system... although I don't think a Voodoo3 3000 can handle 21".

19" is the best of all worlds IMHO. Trinitron rules.

Got 2 of 'em right here. 🙂

me too

a v3 is fine for a 21"

I'd stick with the 19". I can't go back to curved monitors. The 21" would have to have some astronomical refresh rates.

imo bigger is better ... as long as the 21in can handle 2048*1536 @ 75hz or better ... I'd go with the 21 .. else Id keep my 19 at 1600x1200@75 ...

smaller flat screen is better than a curved larger screen.

Plus my desk would probably break in half if I put a 21" CRT on it 😉

I have a Hitachi Superscan 21" monitor so I had to choose 21". I bought the monitor several years ago and it has been an excellent monitor ever since. I could have easily bought a flat screen 19 if I wanted to, but I really love the display on the one I got. Excellent monitor.
