Hey guys;

Building a new pc wanted your opinion on monitor:

  • Asus ROG Swift PG278Q (2K with Gsync)
  • Acer XB280HK (4K and 2K with gsync)
  • LG 34UC97 34" Curved IPS Monitor
  • Other suggestions

i7 5930K
Asus x99 rampage V extreme
1TB Samsung Pro
1TB Samsung Evo
2 GTX 780 or (3 or 4) R9 280x

I've read that you usually play FPS games, so I would reccomend the ROG Swift, I think 1 ms response time is good for this kind of games. If you don't mind multiple display why not 3 fullHD monitors?
PS: sorry for my english, i'm from Italy...

4K is a significant leap in current cost - if you have the jack, go for it. There is already a good thread on that subject in the last week.

If I may revive this thread...am looking at getting a 32" TV for my son for college which he'll be using more as a monitor for the PC. Any recommendations?
