Which monitor should I keep for photo editing?

I just bought a PC that came with an Acer LCD and I also have my old Gateway LCD. One of them has to go. Please help me decide which one should I keep for primarily photo editing and office productivity/tasks.

I know both of these are not great LCDs, but sounds like the Gateway is a better bet for photo editing and the Acer would do better with gaming and movies, correct?

I would try photo edit with one, then try the exact same edit with the other and let my eyeballs be the judge.

That's not a bad idea and very obvious one. I'll try that.

I've read that PVA panel should be better than TN at color reproduction. Plus there's more pixels and brightness with the Gateway panel.

Agree to trying them both, So far the Gateway looks like a better choice for higher resolutions.
