which monitor setup?

amol

Lifer
either:

TWO 20" LCD

ONE 20", 23", or 24" Widescreen LCD (still choosing from the ones available)

ONE 23" and ONE 20" LCD

i do casual gaming (CS:S, flight sim, HL2

which setup will give good gameplay but also good compatibility?

if you are going to go with dual monitors, id suggest using the same monitor because you the transitions b/n the monitors will be seamless; things would be off with say a 20" and 23"

as for the widescreen displays, i believe more and more games are offering widescreen support and would definitely be a good option if you watch a lot of movies off of your computer.

If it were me, id get two 20" monitors and bask in the wonderful glory of 40" of screen space.

EDIT:
I would also get a really long cable and set myself up with entertainment in the john...😀

i would like to watch movies and play ps2 games in my room, but not on or through my computer

would it just be better off to get a dual 20" LCD . . . lets just say 2001FP and then get an extra widescreen tv to play movies and games?

the only thing i'm worried about is that a lot of things will become widescreen or that games will become ws more and more and that i will miss out

then again, the good widescreen solutiouns nowadays are quite expensive . . .
