Which monitor is better? Samsung or Viewsonic? Please answer this cause I need to buy monitor today...

Hi can somebody recommend me which monitor is better, Samsung 550S or Viewsonic E653? Both of them are 15" and I need to know this real qucik since I want to buy it ny today or tomorrow. Thanks

I would go with the viewsonic. My friend had a problem with an optiquest(owned by viewsonic) they bought from value america. She started to have a problem so she sent it back via ups with an rma and they turned around and Fedexed a new one back the very next day! If you do have a problem it would be nice to know you will get that kind of support.

Both are good brands, so it will probably come down to price. The Samsung 950P is almost flat and a very good bargain right now. However, at the 15" level, I would probably go cheapo and get a no-name. Only spend money on a nice big monitor

Thanks... Samsung is actually cheaper and that't what I was thinking to buy since I want to buy Samsung mouse also. Thanks for all the inputs... other inputs are still welcome... thanks once again...

Definitely Samsung, ViewSonic's low end is really really low.
