Which monitor cable for 6870 2gb?

Bit of a stupid question here but I've been out of the loop for a while now. I'm hooking up a new 6870 2gb video card up to a Samsung 20'' widescreen monitor and I wanted to know what type of cable I should be using. The one I was using on my old 4850 card was the type with a single long pin, then two separate 2x2 pin squares spaced out, but the securing screw broke off as I was installing it and I figured I'd make sure I get the right one before I try anything else.

Also the video card has two separate inputs on the back, one of them labeled "VGA" though both pins seem to be set up the same. Should I be using the top one labeled "VGA"?

EDIT: Basically I think what I want to know is should I be using a VGA or DVI cable, and in what slot on the vid card?
