I am trying to sort out which, if any, of the present chipsets will be able to actually run anything beyond a P4 3.06. I am reading about needed different power designs on the mobos, etc.
It is my understanding that the Prescott core will be out next year starting at 3.2, but will any of the present chipsets be able to use it?
Other forums have suggested that the new 845pe and upcoming GB chipsets are good bets.
