Which mobos/chipsets handle HDs over 127G?

The 160G and 200G HDs come with their own controller it seems. But which chipsets handle >127G directly?

from what I read around the net, the newer Intel chipsets(845x, 850x <where x represents any letter version of chipset>) combined w/ WinXP can detect the bigger drives
