Which mobos can read the internal diode?

The Asus doesn't give the user any readings from the diode, unfortunately. I did some experimentation with mine that shows that the readings reported in the BIOS and by Asus Probe are from a surface-mounted socket thermistor and not from the core diode. :( From what Mikewarrior2 said, I think the Soltek is the same way.

Sounds like the EPoX is the real deal, though. True core-diode readings that the user can see.

How bout the MSI KT3? ALso for the epox, is the internal diode also present on the lower end version?

That's a good question on the lower-end EPoX, I haven't heard. Pretty sure the MSI doesn't, however. I'll ask Mike if he can confirm/deny either of those.

A person reported that his Tyan TigerMP does read and report the core diode temperatures, for the record.

From the readings i've seen from the 8k3a (non plus), it hsould read the diode, too.... not 100% sure, but it should.

The KT3, jury's still out.

The Tiger MPs, hard to tell... the temps don't really move enough to constitute int. diode, plus temps are available on non-diode CPUs.
