Which mobo?

Kind of a noob question but I need help deciding which mobo to use. I am going to be using a p4 2.53 and hopefully Corsair XMS 3500. I need very few things as far as mobos go..one being easy overclocking, compatibility with Corsair XMS 3500 or 3200, and possibly usb 2.0 and which are nearly standard as i see it. 8x AGP would also be nice, but as far as I hear it the difference between 8x and 4x are little. If anyone could point me in the right direction I would appreciate it. Thanks!

granite bay or i845pe chipset

if you can wait, wait for granite bay
if you cant, get i845pe (abit it7 max2 ver2 along with asus p4pe is a good board)

Get the Asus P4G8X, Granite Bay mobo. Has tons of great stuff and ultra performance. You won't need PC3xxx memory, just get some good CL2 DDR333 memory, since that would be a huge OC to 166MHz FSB from 133MHz FSB.

Granite bay looks like it will come in at more than double the price of the current PE chpsets and for only a small performance increase. Even for 8X/dual channel it is not worth it. Therefore look at a PE chipset board which is the next best thing. Right on the heels of Granite Bay is the SiS655 chipset which will offer dual channel/8X and should be a lot cheaper.
