Which mobo? Which chipset?

Hey looking for a new mobo but which? I am sticking with SDram at the moment unless someone can find me a good mobo at a good price with both SDram and DDR slots. Must have a KT133A or better chipset and good overclocking features.

1 vote for K7s5a which are SDR and DDR compatible.. So you can use your SDR for now and consider DDR in future...

Well there is overclocking with better bios but is limited.. I don't suggest overclocking too much anyway...

Can you overclock VIA multipler with the ECS? How high does it go or is it auto detect? I am wanting to hit at least 1.2 with my 1gig. Also does it have voltage increasements?

If it doesnt support them couldnt I just connect the bridges that would make it a 1.2@1.8v at default and it detect it like that?

nope, only through FSB... And it does not have voltage increment but I think you can do that through L7 cache. if you are going to do +200mhz to the cpu then you poly don't need that much voltage increment.. If you have good cooling then you can try to do it through the cpu. There are people who are doing 600Duron@900mhz on their ECS.. There are people out there who are doing 1.6 with their 1.4ghz processor with the ECS running at higer FSB.. What you will need is better DDR Memory that are rated at 150mhz+ to have good overclocking on ECS...
