The gigabyte has the exact same on board graphics as the asrock.

"Intel GMA X4500
Intel Graphics Media Accelerator X4500 support Microsoft DirectX10, Intel® Clear Video Technology, which enable smoother HD playback. The 3D enhancement of GMA X4500 also highly improves the realism and graphics performance for mainstream gaming. Through the support of DVI and HDMI (with HDCP), Intel GMA X4500 brings the ultimate multimedia experience."

Here is a spec sheet for the asrock:

Just looking at the boards, the gigabyte just looks more modern in appearance. That looks like old world (pre asus split) asrock tech and it does not give me a warm fuzzy feeling. If you can afford it i would get the gigabyte one.

thx bro for ur hard work.
i found some extra things in asrock graphics specification.here it is:

- Pixel Shader 4.0,
- Max. shared memory 1759MB*
- Supports D-Sub with max. resolution up to 2048x1536 @ 75Hz

gigabyte does't have this.

any big diff. it has?asrock also has some extra features like instant boot,ASRock OC Tuner etc. does it make a big diff.?

Yeah it does, they just aren't bragging about it, because it's not worth bragging about. They have the same video features.

Not worth thinking about.

The ASrock is probably fine for you. I mean, the Gigabyte is better, but if you want to save money and still have a good MOBO, then just get the ASrock.

Its all brand preference really..

Asus, Asrock, MSI, Biostar, Gigabyte.. all make great boards.. try and get one with a 3 year warranty over the 1 year warranty too.. even though you hope to never use it, the warranty reflects the manufacturer's CONFIDENCE in their product.

Just keep an eye out for boards with inordinate or disproportionate amounts of bad reviews on newegg and you should be fine.

well bro actually i want to go with gigabyte g41 combo but it is short here in the market. The shopkeepers are selling it in black and asking for $20 to $30 more than its actual cost.No one selling AsRock here so i decided to shift on another board.i found msi could be the another option.so i asked u to give some reviews for msi board.
